Toledo Symphony prepares 'Kaleidoscope' Sunday
The Toledo Symphony has dubbed its third Blade Chamber Series concert “Kaleidoscope,” and the name certainly fits. • Poetry — The 10-week class starting in January, is for 12- through 18-year-olds. Poetic styles, techniques and experimenting with vast prompts are included. Cost is $20 for nonmembers; and free to members in seventh through 12th grades. |

Up-tempo styles to clash Tuesday

Holmen High School’s boys’ basketball team has returned to its roots on offense this season, running an up-tempo, slashing offense, at times at the expense of its half-court defense. Holmen will see somewhat of a mirror image at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when the Vikings host Tomah. |
